DATO' Haji KK Sihabutheen Kirudu Mohamed
Dato’ Haji KK Sihabutheen Kirudu Mohamed, who was born on December 7, 1965, is the son of the prestigious founder of Nasi Kandar Pelita Encik Kirudu Mohamed bin Kuppaikanni. As executive director who has been on the board of Syarikat Pelita Samudra Pertama (M) Sdn Bhd since 1997 and Hotel Palm Inn (M) Sdn Bhd, Dato’ Haji KK Sihabutheen is also the managing director of Nur Best Management (M) Sdn Bhd and IM Orientation Academy Sdn Bhd.
A graduate of the Manipal Institute of Technology, Manipal, India with a Bachelor of Architecture with Honours (1990), he is the executive director of Pelita Samudra Pertama (M) Sdn Bhd, The Light Hotel (M) Sdn Bhd and Hotel Palm Inn (M) Sdn Bhd. A highly visionary entrepreneur who is also a down-to-earth and charitable personality, Dato’ Haji KK Sihabutheen together with the other directors have effortlessly and successfully built and developed a prestigious 5-star hotel in Seberang Jaya, known as The Light Hotel Penang. In 2019, he was awarded the Darjah Setia Pangkuan Negeri (D.S.P.N) by the Yang di-Pertua Negeri Pulau Pinang Tun Dato’ Seri Utama (Dr.) Haji Abdul Rahman bin Haji Abbas.

He not only focuses on businesses but his commitment towards the social and humanitarian development of the people is commendable. In the food and beverage industry, Dato’ Haji KK Sihabutheen’s commitment cannot be denied, as he has taken the nasi kandar food industry to greater heights in the country whereby he holds the position as President of the Persatuan Muslim Athiyuthu Pulau Pinang and Persatuan Pengusaha Restoran Islam Malaysia. He strives to achieve the objectives of his companies through strategic directions and perspectives and transparent leadership qualities.

Dato’ Mohammed Gazali bin Mohd Hussain is an entrepreneur who believes that dreams do not become a reality through magic, but through one’s sweat, determination and hard work. The director of DMG Adventures (M) Sdn Bhd and Helistar Resources Sdn Bhd is a Master’s holder from the University of Rockhampton, Australia. Dato’ Mohammed Gazali is also the deputy chairman of the Liga Muslim Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur and serves as advisor for the Pertubuhan Penyebaran Islam Antarabangsa (IPSI). He is a member of the Indian Muslim Penang Association.
Dato’ Mohammed Gazali has a colourful career as a businessman and entrepreneur, especially in the field of tourism, rental businesses such as vehicles, planes and helicopters for personal, government and private use. He is also a dedicated contributor and supporter of businesses especially in Penang. As part of his business, he has successfully held the event Helicopter Joy Up which has brought tremendous benefits to Penang island. He is also a dedicated philanthropist who supports many causes by providing financial aid to not only the poor and the elderly, but also to underprivileged patients suffering from cancer, kidney ailments, etc. Dato’ Mohammed Gazali believes in the power of education and helps out the underprivileged by placing special emphasis on their education to enable them to improve their quality of life. He also has a passion for environmental preservation, especially in the area of protecting coral growth. As a staunch Muslim, he also patronises and encourages performances by local religious groups. Dato’ Mohammed Gazali has received the Anugerah Tokoh Usahawan Berjaya (PRIM, Perak) in 2015, in the following year in 2016, he received the Asean International Award Air Flight & Helicopter Charter Leadership (ARFF) and in 2017, he was awarded the Young Indian Entrepreneur Award.
